Regular Season Round 15: Dziki - Varese 81-76

Very important is a loss of ItalianVarese (1-3) against twelfth ranked Polish Dziki (6-2) on Saturday night. Varese unexpectedly was defeated by 76-81 . Dziki started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-9 . But Varese won second period 22-14 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Piotr Galazka (184-2009) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Mateusz Nieweglowski (193-2009) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Dziki players scored in double figures. Mattia Verona produced 32 points and 7 rebounds and Georges Ango added 13 points and 15 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Dziki have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain twelfth place with 6-2 record, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Varese dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with 8 other teams.
